Big Red Bus Club is a free-to-access, family well-being centre based in Charlton Park. Warm and welcoming, our purpose is to serve the needs of our local community.
Come along and meet our wonderful team of volunteers at our daily stay-and-play sessions.

What's On
Daily Stay-and-Play
Our free under-five stay-and-play sessions are run by our dedicated volunteers, giving you and your child the chance to have fun together. Enjoy a range of activities such as arts & crafts and outdoor play, make friends and grab a cup of tea.
Play Plus
Play Plus is a stay-and-play group for children under the age of five and is specifically designed for those who would benefit from developing communication skills and/or who have additional needs. Our specialist team are on hand to support you and help you access other local services within the community.
Ukrainian Play Group
Our Ukrainian stay-and-play group is run by local Ukrainian mums, sharing stories, songs and fun activities. This group runs in collaboration with Ukrainian Support Greenwich and offers assistance to newly arrived Ukrainian families.
Speak Up
Speak Up is our stay-and-play group to help you and your child practise your English language skills in fun and engaging ways. Our ESOL tutor and a playworker are available so that you can both enjoy all the activities on offer, such as stories and song time.
Neurodivergent Power
This Saturday morning session (11am-1pm) is for diagnosed and undiagnosed neurodivergent girls from ages 10-13. Activities such as pottery, jewllery making and climbing are on offer, along with support with strategies for everyday life.
Volunteering
Our stay-and-play sessions are run by our dedicated and enthusiastic volunteer team. Volunteers are given training in different areas such as first aid, safeguarding and Makaton (sign language), as well as offered opportunities to develop skills for future employment.
